DO IT YOUR SELF TUMMY WRAP

My first tummy wrap was done at a natural health care center in Richmond,Virginia at Healthy Heart Plus. I was just coming off of an almost month long juice fast. So I wanted to end my fast with a tummy wrap. I really enjoyed it.........I like being pampered by others too......LOL. I received amazing results, I dropped at least about four inches or more from my waist (can't remember the exact inches number, but is was a very noticeable difference).
Some may say that a tummy wrap is uncomfortable, but it wasn't for me. If we can walk around uncomfortable in shoes all day, why not be a little uncomfortable in a tummy wrap that can render smashing results. It can be done on the weekend if you want to stay at home while wearing one. I kept my tummy wrap on for 36 hours along with an exercise waist belt on top........... Later, I relocated and wanted another tummy wrap but it was not convenient to travel to get one and there were no centers near me. I had to give my self a wrap! Well, actually I did a whole body wrap first( that's another post). We will stick to the the tummy wrap. Yes, I did it and it was EASY. Again, the results were amazing, yes the results can be considered temporary. However, you can maintain your results with a routine of exercise, healthy eating and always healthy thinking.

Tummy wraps are all natural, most contain a mixture of herbs, minerals and sea salts and essential oils. The more wraps you do the longer the benefits last. Again healthy eating and exercise helps maintain your results, don't go out and eat a double cheeseburger after you pull you wrap off because you are so happy with your results:)  These are just some of the benefits of a tummy wrap:
  • decreases excess water weight
  • helps contour your waist area
  • softens your skin
  • tightens your skin
  • helps draw out toxins
  • "temporary" inch loss
DRINK PLENTY OF WATER BEFORE YOU START YOUR WRAP( DAY OF, DAY BEFORE AND AFTER)

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL NEED OR CAN USE:
dried herb mixture of your choice ( I used Eucalyptus leaf, allspice berry, clove, rosemary leaf and ginger root)
cellulite gel or cream (optional)
plastic wrap (good plastic wrap from grocery store or massage warehouse)
ace bandages (3 or more depending on length/width of bandages and size of area to wrap)
exercise waist belt (optional- I like it, it makes the wrap tighter and helps to contour more)
reusable empty tea bag to make tea from herb mixture
NOTE : You can add or remove ingredients, add techniques, add essential oils - be creative

NOW TIME TO DO YOUR WRAP!
Fill tea bag with herb mixture. Boil big pot of water or use crock pot to make hot water. This pot will need to be big enough to soak your ace bandages in. Once water comes to a boil submerge your tea bag/bags, let stand for at least 15 minutes with lid on. Then submerge your bandages in the pot mixture. You want to get your bandages soaked with the tea mixture, let that stand for at least another 15 minutes or so.

While you are letting your bandages soak, you can massage on your optional cellulite cream/ or massage you entire stomach/waist area or even dry brush it. This helps to get the circulation going. Take your bandages out of the pot (be careful they are hot). I normally stack mine in a large bowl. Now you can start to wrap, if the bandages are too hot for you, you may allow them to cool a little longer. Take one bandage at a time and begin to wrap your area tightly....not so tight you can't breath or it hurts (you know what is comfortable for you). After you wrap each bandage secure with the bandage pins, repeat these steps until the whole area you want to wrap is covered. Now you may wrap the entire area with plastic wrap, this will keep the heat flow going. If you want to use your exercise waist belt, you can attach it over the wraps and secure. Now you are done! You may also use a clay mix with herbs and apply to all of waist, then apply plastic wrap and follow with ace bandages. Again, you can switch it up however you like.

You can leave this on for how long you choose 1 hour, 2 hours.......you be the judge. After you unwrap your self, take a shower or bath and rinse in cool water. IMPORTANT NOTE: you want to make sure you drink plenty of water before and after this tummy wrap!
